Working as a key member of the Academy Department and reporting to the Head of Coach and Player Development, the post‑holder will lead coaching sessions, contribute to player development plans, and support the Youth Development Phase environment for U13 players.

This varied role requires a committed, organised and player‑centred coach with excellent communication skills and the ability to create a challenging and supportive environment that enables young players to succeed both on and off the pitch.

The role is based at the Academy Training Ground(s) and is delivered on a casual/sessional basis - typically 10 hours per week including evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the planning, delivery and review of coaching sessions for U13 players
  • Ensuring long‑term individual development needs are integrated into session design
  • Uploading session and fixture details accurately on the club’s performance platform
  • Liaising closely with the Youth Development Phase Lead and other supporting staff
  • Delivering training in line with EPPP criteria, club policy and the Academy coaching philosophy
  • Assisting with monitoring player performance in training and matches
  • Supporting six‑week player reviews and participating in parent and player meetings
  • Contributing to personal professional development and coaching meetings
