Safeguarding

Liz Pamplin as part of a pre-match huddle for Cambridge United Women

We have been awarded the Silver Quality Mark by Safeguarding Fundamentals!

In order to achieve this, we had to meet eight requirements set by Safeguarding Fundamentals, whose mission is to set a new standard in child protection and welfare.

Safeguarding Fundamentals was set up by Dr Paul Stewart, an ex England, Tottenham, Man City and Liverpool player who spoke out against the physical and sexual abuse he endured as a youngster and Antonia Noble, a Barrister and safeguarding specialist.
