Cambridge United are hiring a Head Coach to lead our Under 16s Girls JPL team...
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed, ambitious, and motivated coach to lead our Under 16’s Girls JPL team. Prospective candidates should be able to communicate well with others, including players, parents and coaching staff. They should ideally have previous experience with coaching women and girls, although all experience will be considered.
Key job outcomes:
- To lead the organisation, delivery, and communication of the U16’s Girls JPL team which includes the delivery of training sessions, fixtures, trials and other additional opportunities/events.
- Deliver feedback to the Head of Female Football, U18’s Girls JPL Head Coach and Women’s First Team manager on player progression and development.
- To support with the creation, monitoring and evaluation of the U16’s Girls JPL budget
- To comply with all regulatory league and club requirements.
- To manage the recording of the necessary statistics about all players and matches.
- To support the recruitment of required staff for the U16’s JPL Girls’ team.
- Support and promote a safe environment for all, reporting any safeguarding concerns to the appropriate person at the earliest opportunity.
- Consistently evaluate players’ learning and development and deliver honest and constructive feedback to players and parents, encouraging improvement and progression opportunities.
- To actively keep and grow positive relationships with local grassroots clubs.
- To uphold the wider CUFC club ethos, delivering the brand standards of outstanding customer service whilst ensuring a clear and effective line of communication is maintained across the team and club.
- To promote and market all Club activities and programmes by appropriate means, as requested. You will be assisted with this by the Communications Manager and the other Club staff team members.
- Any other duties requested by the Head of Female Football or Girls Programme Manager
A UEFA C License is required, with a UEFA B License deemed desirable.
