In the final month of the season, United got over the line to secure automatic promotion, with two wins, four draws and just one defeat enough to seal the U’s place in Sky Bet League One next year.
- James Gibbons – Another outstanding month from the U’s Player of the Season, with Gibbons adding three more goals to his impressive campaign.
- Ben Knight - Three goals during the final month of the season continued his stand-out form for the U's, who was at the centre of United's attagckin output.
- Kell Watts – United recorded four more clean sheets during the final fixtures of the season, with Watts once again leading the defensive line superbly throughout the month.
- Dom Ball – The U’s midfielder set the tone for the month by scoring the opener against Notts County and went on to enjoy a superb run of form at the heart of the action.
