Join the Football vs Hunger fight with Cambridge City Foodbank

Every home game, Cambridge United supporters have the chance to support Cambridge City Foodbank through our matchday collection point as part of the nationwide Football vs Hunger campaign.

The collection point is located near the Junior U’s Kids’ Zone at the front of the Cledara Abbey Stadium on Newmarket Road. Supporters are encouraged to bring along essential food items, which will go directly to people in need here in Cambridge.

Last year alone, Cambridge City Foodbank provided more than 17,000 emergency food parcels to local people – their highest number ever and almost double the amount from just five years ago, highlighting the ongoing need for support across our community.

There is currently a particular need for the following items:

  • Pasta sauce
  • Noodles
  • Long-life milk
  • Tinned meat
  • Tinned vegetables
  • Tinned soup
