Remembrance Fixture...

Saturday's game is the Club's annual Remembrance Fixture as the Club and its supporters remembers the sacrifices of our Armed Forces, veterans, and their families.

Volunteer collectors will be located all around the Abbey Stadium in the hours leading up to the match, so if you can, please give generously to support their appeal.

As always, we will pay our respects ahead of kick-off with a minute's silence and playing of the Last Post by a local Bugler, supported by a Standard Bearer and members of the 2620 Sqn RAF Regiment Reserves Cambridge.

Fans are requested to arrive in good time in-order to prevent disruption of the tribute and to allow everyone to properly pay their respects.

Supporter Behaviour...

To challenge the totally unacceptable presence of football tragedy abuse, for season 2023/24, regulation changes and tough new measures have been introduced which will see people who are found to have committed offences face stadium bans and potential criminal prosecution.

In addition to bans and criminal sanctions, a range of in-stadium, in-classroom and online resources will be rolled out under the ‘Love Football Protect the Game’ banner, to educate adults and children alike about the hurt tragedy chanting causes. Ground regulations have also been updated to incorporate references to tragedy chanting.

The game will also continue its efforts to combat dangerous, illegal and unwelcome behaviour off the pitch, be it in the stands or online. Last season a host of new measures were introduced by authorities which saw enhanced sanctions applied for people identified entering the pitch, using pyros, taking drugs to games, throwing objects or for discriminatory abuse.

Report It...

Safety at the Abbey Stadium remains a key priority on a Matchday and should you witness anti-social or discriminatory behaviour, please speak to a steward, report it via the Club's anonymous reporting textline - 075224 73291 - or through our online Report an Incident page.
