Cambridge United are pleased to confirm that the FanZone will be open for Saturday’s fixture against Crawley, providing home and away supporters with the ideal area to enjoy the pre-match Abbey atmosphere.

Introduced as part of the Club’s Next Chapter initiative and delivered in association with Cambridge Fans United and CUSP, the two supporter groups have combined to provide fans with an additional area to get together prior to the game and enjoy music, entertainment, food and drink in a safe and friendly environment.

Located at the rear of the South Habbin, the Fanzone is open from 1:30pm and is FREE to enter for home and away supporters.

U’s fans can try their hand at former Brazillian legend Ronaldinho’s favourite sport this week as Teqball comes to town for the Teqball Tour at the Abbey Stadium.

Teqball is a skill football-based sport, designed in Hungary and played over a curved table. The sport is ideal for both professional footballers and amateur players alike and is fun for all the family.

A Teqball table will be positioned inside the Fan Zone before the match against Crawley Town on Saturday 2nd November. Fans will be able to test their skills at the popular sport that has already been named as one of the fastest growing sports in the world.

The FanZone offers a family friendly environment with Marvin the Moose on hand to make sure that all junior fans are well entertained too. The tea bar located in the FanZone will also be open to serve a range of hot and cold food items, whilst a cash bar will also be in place offering a range of alcoholic drinks and soft drinks.

Get along and begin to enjoy your match day even earlier at the Abbey!
