Mead Plant & Grab Family Stand
After a successfully first season, Cambridge United are pleased that the Mead Plant & Grab South Stand will remain as the Club’s designated home family stand for the 2025/26 season...
Over the past few seasons, the Club has placed significant focus on growing its home supporter base through improving the matchday experience and engaging with underrepresented groups within the community.
This has resulted in the average attendance at the Cledara Abbey Stadium increasing by over 57% since the Club were promoted to EFL League One three seasons ago, with occupancy in home areas of the stadium this season exceeding an average of 90%.
The Club recognises that to increase the supporter base further, it needs to create additional seating and improve the levels of matchday experience available to home supporters and therefore, it took the strategic decision to make the Mead South Stand the designated home family stand from the 2024/25 season. Family seating in Blocks A and G of the Main Stand will still be available.
The stand offers improvements to catering, retail and engagement spaces this summer and will provide an improved match day experience for families, as well as new and existing supporters.
In addition, 15 wheelchair spaces and accompanying Personal Assistant seats will be available to home supporters, with Block H1 of the stand becoming a designated calm area for supporters, which will replace the current area located in Block A2 of the Main Stand.
Season tickets are available to purchase in the stand for a the best family experience here.
