Fraser Hinks-Stratton appointed Girl's U18s Head Coach

Fraser

We are delighted to confirm the appointment of Fraser Hinks-Stratton as Head Coach of the Girl’s U18s.

Fraser joined the U’s as part of the coaching staff for Cambridge United Women’s First Team in the latter part of the 2025/26 season.

He brings a wealth of experience in coaching women’s football with him to the role including roles at Wellingborough, Northampton and Peterborough.

Speaking about taking on the U18s Head Coach role, Fraser said the following:

“I really enjoy building projects and helping as many young girls get involved in football as I possibly can and helping them reach that top level.”

Fraser will continue to be a part of the Women’s first team coaching staff moving forward as we look to continue the development of our exciting pathway that saw several U18 players progress into the first team last season.

Women’s General Manager, Charlotte Crisp, had the following to say about Fraser’s appointment:

“I’m delighted to welcome Fraser as our new Under-18s Head Coach. Fraser brings a wealth of experience in female player development and has a proven track record of helping young players reach their potential. I’m confident he will play a key role in strengthening our pathway, supporting the development of our players and helping prepare them for the step into our Women’s First Team.

I’d also like to thank Kamran Khan for his hard work, commitment and contribution over the past season. His dedication to the development of our young players has been greatly appreciated, and on behalf of everyone at the club, I’d like to wish him every success in his next venture.

I believe that having Fraser and Sean Greygoose working together along with the support from David Burkett and Sam Carrington, provides a very strong management structure for our young players. Their combined experience and leadership will create an environment where players can flourish, develop both on and off the pitch, and be fully supported throughout their footballing journey at the club.

We’re excited about the future of our U18's JPL programme and look forward to seeing the positive impact Fraser will have on the next generation of players."

Everyone at Cambridge United would like to congratulate Fraser on his appointment and wish him every success in his new role.

The club would also like to place on record it’s thanks to previous U18s Head Coach Kamran Khan for his hard work with the team last season and wish him all the best for the future.
