Eastwood, 28, has spent the majority of his career with Sheffield United, having come through the Club’s Academy as a youngster, before signing professional terms in 2016.
The following seven seasons saw Eastwood join several clubs on loan, including Chesterfield, Scunthorpe United and Grimsby Town.
In 2023 he joined the Mariners on a permanent deal, before now signing with the U’s on a one-year contract.
Eastwood said, “I am buzzing to be here and can’t wait to get going. I came in here on Monday to train and straight away I got a good feel for it – the players, the staff, the facilities. It was an easy decision to sign."
“I am delighted to welcome Jake Eastwood to the Football Club,” Neil Harris added. “He is real Cambridge United goalkeeper – no nonsense, off his line and extremely aggressive and confident.
“I have received some really good references on him and he came in for a couple of days and was exceptional. I look forward to working with him over the coming season.”
