Last week, Cambridge United Football Club invited over 300 leaders from across Cambridge’s business and civic communities to Kings College, marking the beginning of a new chapter at the Club following the recent rebrand...

The evening, which was held at Kings College, was attended by prominent civic and business figures from across the city, alongside Cambridge United Majority Owner Paul Barry, Club Board Members, Trustees of Cambridge United Foundation, and senior Club staff including Director of Football Mark Bonner and Head Coach Neil Harris.

The event served as a platform for education and engagement, as the Club seeks to build long-term strategic partnerships.

Commenting on the event, Cambridge United CEO Alex Tunbridge said, “The city of Cambridge is experiencing a period of rapid growth and exceptional opportunity awaits. As a football club at the heart of this city, we have a unique and important role to play in its future. Cambridge United today is a very different club from what it was five years ago. 

"We have made significant progress with our fan base and in the community — now it's time to engage more deeply with the city’s business and civic leaders to reshape perceptions and expand our impact

"Those in attendance were very positive about the club, it’s work within the city and our plans both on and off the pitch. There was a strong feeling of unity and support, with many present excited to get involved and increase the significant levels of goodwill and support we already receive from across Cambridge."
