Cambridge United are seeking to recruit Accommodation Providers in the local area to support our Academy host family provision…
We are looking for individuals or families who can offer high-quality accommodation within a safe, supportive, and welcoming home environment for young people aged 16–21. Many of our Academy players may be living away from home for the first time, making this a vital role in their personal and professional development.
This is a rewarding opportunity to play an important part in a young player’s journey, supporting both their wellbeing and progression within the game.
Requirements:
- Located within easy cycling distance or accessible by public transport to both the Cledara Abbey Stadium and Bentley Road Training Ground
- A safe, family-oriented environment suitable for young people
- Accommodation typically required from Sunday evening to Saturday morning during the football season
- Breaks provided over the Christmas period and throughout June
Cambridge United Football Club is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All Accommodation Providers are expected to share this commitment.
As part of the process:
- Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks will be required
- Additional safeguarding training will be provided by the Club
- Accommodation may need to meet specific health and safety standards
How to Apply:
If you believe you can provide a suitable environment for our young footballers and are able to offer an immediate start, please contact Callum Langley, Academy Player Care Manager by emailing mailto:calluml@cambridgeunited.com.
Further information will be provided, along with a potential visit to assess the suitability of the accommodation.
