Cambridge United are delighted to have this week unveiled the brand new electronic screen at the front of the Abbey Stadium on Newmarket Road.
The Club are thrilled to partner with Stadia Solutions who have fully invested in the infrastructure and high-tech equipment that will enable the screen to function.
The screen provides an exciting new way for Cambridge United to promote fixtures, merchandise and other products at the Abbey Stadium to people travelling into the city, as well as receiving new revenue through the sale of advertisements on the screen.
Cambridge United, Chief Operating Officer Henry Comfort commented: “We’re delighted to have unveiled the first large digital screen installed in such close proximity to Cambridge city centre. This demonstrates the forward-thinking approach that our Club look to take in achieving our objectives.
“Not only will the Club receive a new advertising revenue stream but it also provides a hugely visible and innovative way for us to be able to promote match tickets, alongside the products and services from our exciting portfolio of commercial partners to a new audience of people passing the ground on their journey towards the City Centre.
“It’s been brilliant working with James Cook and the rest of the team at Stadia Solutions, on this project as they look to assist our Football Club in securing additional income streams.”
The Club would also like to thank Cambridge United Supporter’s Club for their support in helping us to make this opportunity possible.
