Cambridge United are pleased to announce the signing of Zak Bradshaw…
The 21-year-old defender arrives from Lincoln City on a free transfer and signs a two-year deal with the Club.
At Ipswich Town as a youngster, Bradshaw progressed through the Academy before signing his first professional contract in 2022. Several loan spells followed, before joining Lincoln City on a permanent deal in 2024.
Whilst with the Imps, he continued to build up his experience with loans at Dundalk and Tranmere Rovers, making 51 appearances across spells at both clubs last season.
“I am ready to knuckle down and kick-start my career properly.” Zak said. “I have had a lot of loans and racked up a lot of games, so now I want to be able to call a place home.

"We are all on the same page – with where I want to get to and the Club’s ambition. Now I have got this move I am just over the moon and want to hit the ground running.”
Neil Harris added, “I would like to welcome Zak to the Football Club and to the changing room.
“He is a young player with a lot of potential, but already has experience of playing men’s football in League Two.
“He adds real competition for places across the defensive unit and we look forward to working with Zak to enable him to grow into a player that has a long-term future at the Club.”
Bradshaw's arrival is the fifth new addition of the summer transfer window. Join Zak and the rest of the team by signing up for a 2025/26 Season Ticket.
