The successful applicant will work closely with the Club’s Communications team to help support the media output of Cambridge United Academy.
The primary focus for the candidate will be to promote the Academy through social media and the website. They will be required to provide reports on games, update graphics, capture content through visual media and showcase the work that the Academy do with engaging content.
Experience of any of the following skills would be advantageous: Photography, Videography, Editing, Graphic Design, Writing Sports Copy.
During the week they will be required to support the team with other duties, during hours which work with the students’ schedule.
In addition to this, may be required on occasions to support the team with other media and marketing duties.
Key Job Outcomes:
• Work with the Media team and Academy staff to plan, execute and deliver
engaging content for the Academy social channels
• Attend fixtures to cover Academy teams – mainly U18s - for official Club channels
• Commit to continual improvement and ensuring the Club’s output is engaging,
innovative and of the highest standard
• Lead on the production and delivery of all visual Academy media – photos,
video and graphics
• Write articles about Academy stories for the Website and Matchday Programme
• Any other reasonable duties
