These funds were lent to Cambridge United Football Club in early 2025 by the club's current shareholders and do not represent new funds.
Chair of the Board Shaun Grady stated, "This conversion of loans to equity represents a technical adjustment to the share register and is a further illustration of the significant financial investment in Cambridge United by our owners.
"I know I speak for everyone involved in Cambridge United in saying how grateful we are for their constant and generous support."
