Cambridge United players enjoyed a special community visit last week, as they spent time with young people at Romsey Mill’s Trumpington Youth Club in the build-up to Christmas…
Elias Kachunga, Zeno Ibsen Rossi, Ben Hughes, Adam Mayor, Liam Bennett and Kell Watts were on hand to deliver plenty of festive cheer, taking time to chat, join in activities and hand out Christmas gifts to young people at the Club.
The visit formed part of the Club’s charity partnership with Romsey Mill this season, with the players keen to give something back and help create a memorable experience for those in attendance during the festive period.
A magic afternoon at @romseymill's Trumpington Youth Club! ✨
The lads dropped in last week to spread some Christmas cheer - and brought a few gifts along too! 🎄🎁 pic.twitter.com/box92cRqRS— Cambridge United FC (@CambridgeUtdFC) December 15, 2025
The gifts were made possible thanks to the generous support of CUFC Lottery and Ian Darler's Cambridge Charity Fundraisers, whose contributions helped ensure every young person received a Christmas present to take home, in addition to a CUFC scarf.
Cambridge United would like to thank everyone at Romsey Mill for the warm welcome, as well as the staff and volunteers at the Trumpington Youth Club for the vital work they do throughout the year.
