Cambridge United are pleased to announce the appointment of Marc Forrest as Emerging Talent Coach (U14–U19)...
Marc joins from Arsenal, where he coached across a range of academy age groups, and brings significant experience from a 14-year spell in technical roles with the Football Association.
In his new role, Marc will work across both the Youth Development Phase (YDP) and Professional Development Phase (PDP), with a focus on identifying and developing high-potential players as they progress through the Club’s performance pathway.
Academy Manager Dom Knighton said: “We are delighted to welcome Marc to the football club and believe he will be an excellent addition to our coaching and wider academy team.
“Marc arrives with a clear remit to support the identification and development of high-potential players across our U14–U19 pathway. He will deliver high-quality coaching, complemented by consistent off-pitch support.
“Throughout the recruitment process, he demonstrated a genuine passion for individual player development, and we are confident he will make a positive impact on our academy players’ journeys while supporting their progression.”
