Cambridge United are pleased to announce the appointment of Ethan Scott as Head Coach of Cambridge United Women…
Scott joins the U’s after helping Norwich City Women secure promotion to the third tier of women’s football as Assistant Coach, concluding an eight-year spell with the club.
Having originally joined Norwich as an Academy Analyst Intern and then Lead Performance Analyst, Scott progressed through the ranks before moving into the coaching set-up, playing a key role in the club’s recent success.
The 26-year-old arrives at an exciting time for Cambridge United Women, with the team preparing to move into their new home at Grange Road ahead of the upcoming season.
Ethan Scott said, “I am delighted to be joining Cambridge United Women at such an exciting time for the Club. From my conversations with everyone here, it is clear there is a real ambition to continue building and developing the women’s programme both on and off the pitch.
“I’m looking forward to getting started, meeting the players and staff, and working hard to help drive the team forward ahead of the new season.”
Alongside the appointment of Ethan Scott as Head Coach, Sean Greygoose will return to the team as Assistant Head Coach.
Women’s General Manager Charlotte Crisp added, “I am delighted with Ethan's appointment as our Women’s Head Coach. His experience at National League level and proven ability to foster a strong, competitive team environment make him an excellent fit for the Club.
“Throughout the process, Ethan’s passion, professionalism, and commitment to building a positive performance culture stood out, and his values strongly align with what we want to build on and achieve as a club.
“I am also extremely pleased that Sean has rejoined us as Assistant Head Coach. Sean has played a significant role in the development of our female pathway and the transition of our younger players into the first team, and his coaching record speaks for itself.
“I’m looking forward to working alongside both Ethan and Sean and I am excited to see the team’s growth and success under their leadership.”
