Community Ambassadors wanted for new season

The Cledara Abbey Stadium

We are proud to be at the heart of our community and to continue developing these ties, we are excited to launch our Cambridge United Ambassador project for the 2025/26 season...

To help reach further corners of the city, we'd like to identify Community Ambassadors whose roles will include:

  • Promoting Club Values: Representing Cambridge United’s inclusive and community-focused ethos at events, schools, and local organisations.
  • Engagement & Outreach: Supporting engagement activities that target underrepresented or hard-to-reach groups, encouraging participation in club initiatives.
  • Matchday Presence: Welcoming identified groups and organisations, assisting with fan experience initiatives, and being a visible, friendly presence on matchdays.
  • Supporting Events: Attending and assisting with club-led community events, such as open days, charity fundraisers, school visits, or local festivals.
  • Advocacy & Feedback: Acting as a bridge between the community and the club by listening to local voices and feeding back insights that can improve outreach and inclusion.
  • Encouraging Participation: Inspiring people of all ages and backgrounds to get involved in football and the wider work of the club.

These voluntary roles are ideal for someone passionate about football, community development, and making a positive local impact.

We are particularly interested in finding individuals in the following fields and communities: education, local faith groups, local hospital and medical institutions, STEM, youth and social groups, key employers, and other key organisations and social projects within the city and surrounding local areas.

If you are interested in being considered for the roles, please email supporterservices@cambridgeunited.com with an introduction to yourself and the community group you wish to represent and engage with.
