Cambridge United are pleased to once again be taking its Schools Roadshow to local primary schools…
Last year saw the club pilot the scheme which takes players into schools in the area to engage with students and answer their burning questions.
After a successful pilot year, the club is pleased to be running the scheme again throughout the 2026/27 season. This year, the Roadshow offers a 30-minute assembly including a special appearance from a first team men's player, alongside a short session delivered by Cambridge United Foundation surrounding inclusion and how this is experienced in a football culture.
The Roadshow aims to bridge the gap between the club and the community, giving young people a unique opportunity to connect with their sporting heroes.
By combining the excitement of meeting first-team players with impactful educational sessions, Cambridge United and Cambridge United Foundation hope to inspire local children to stay active, build confidence and foster a lifelong love for the game.
Applications are open now to primary schools within a 10-mile radius of Cambridge city centre. Please click here to register your interest.
Please note that whilst we aim to reach as many schools as possible throughout the season, we receive a high number of applications and may not be able to accommodate all applicants.
