The renewed partnership comes at an exciting time for both organisations and the city of Cambridge, following the opening of Cambridge South station – a landmark development that is helping to transform connectivity across the region.
As one of the city's leading transport providers, Greater Anglia plays an important role in connecting communities, businesses and visitors across the region. The opening of Cambridge South has created a new gateway to the city, improving access to key destinations including the Cambridge Biomedical Campus while strengthening links between Cambridge and the wider rail network.
For Cambridge United supporters, Greater Anglia continues to play an important role in making matchdays more accessible, helping fans travel to the Cledara Abbey Stadium and supporting those who follow the U’s both home and away.
The continuation of the Habbin Stand sponsorship also ensures Greater Anglia remains a visible presence on matchdays, with one of Cambridge United’s most recognisable stands continuing to carry the name of a partner committed to supporting the Club and the local community.
