Cambridge United Academy are pleased to announce the launch of a new partnership with Priory Parkside FC...

The collaboration aims to create fresh opportunities for players, coaches and volunteers, and further strengthen grassroots football in the region.

Cambridge United Talent ID Officer Jake Hammond said, “After some really positive conversations with Priory Parkside - particularly with Robert Barker and Gemma Keech - it quickly became clear that this partnership could benefit both clubs.

“Priory Parkside FC has a very successful youth setup, and when the opportunity arose to formalise our relationship, we jumped at it.

“They have a large number of teams, which is a credit to the outstanding work being done there. This partnership gives us a fantastic opportunity to support so many boys and girls across the club.”

Priory Parkside Chairman Robert Barker added, “As Chairman, I’m absolutely delighted to confirm our new partnership with Cambridge United. This is a hugely exciting milestone for our club and a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved.

“Working alongside such a respected professional club will open up fantastic opportunities for our players, coaches and wider community - from development pathways and shared resources to inspiring new experiences for our young people.

“We are proud to be aligning with Cambridge United and look forward to building a strong, positive relationship that helps our grassroots football continue to thrive.”
