This Saturday's Sky Bet League One fixture against Plymouth Argyle at the Cledara Abbey Stadium will be Cambridge United's dedicated Remembrance Fixture…
Supporters are invited to support this year's Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, with bucket collections taking place around the stadium ahead of kick-off.
Volunteers, veterans and local cadets will be collecting donations at various points around the ground. Any contribution, big or small, will be greatly appreciated.
Before kick-off, the club will honour the servicemen and women who have served, and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Players, coaching staff and match officials will enter the field earlier than usual, before representatives from both clubs lay poppy wreaths at the centre circle.
The stadium will then observe a minute's silence, followed by the sounding of the Last Post, played by a local bugler.
Supporters are encouraged to be in their seats in good time to help create a fitting atmosphere and allow everyone in attendance to unite in remembrance.
