2000th league game celebrations...
This weekend's game is a historic one, as the Club reaches its 2000th league game since the U's 1970 election into the Football League.
To mark the milestone, we are inviting supporters to wear their favourite retro shirt to the game as we aim to get the Abbey at its most vibrant and effervescent best.
U's legends Rodney Slack, Roly Horrey, Lindsay Smith, Peter Phillips, Andy Duncan and Malcolm Webster will all be in attendance as guests of the Club and supporters will be able to hear from some of them before the game and at half-time out on the pitch.
Local Brass band, Waterbeach Brass will welcome the teams out ahead of kick-off with a special performance out on the pitch, and we are also delighted to welcome three generations of the U's supporting Nightingale family to the game, who will be lead the teams out from the tunnel.
Finally, at half-time, CUFC Lottery are marking the occasion by announcing a whopping six £500 lucky winners (£3,000 total) as extra ‘Must Win’ prizes. Click here to join the Lottery in time for Saturday's big giveaway.
If you have any questions or queries on the day of the game, please speak to our Abbey Helpers who are wearing high-viz jacket and will be located around the ground.
Cambridge United looks forward to welcoming Bristol Rovers' travelling supporters to the Abbey Stadium. Please note, there are no away tickets remaining from the U's allocation. There will be no tickets available on the day.

Fan Zones and Food/Drink...
Fan Zones in the Newmarket Road End, Main Stand and Habbin are open from 1:15pm, offering supporters space to get together and enjoy a range of culinary and beverage options before kick-off.
New covers have been installed across all three Fan Zones, meaning supporters will be protected from all of the elements throughout the season.
After receiving feedback from fans, a refreshed menu is in operation around the ground, which offers greater choice and flexibility with your matchday meal.
Supporters will have the option to add fries and a drink to their selection of Burger (Plant Based option available) or Hot Dog, to form a meal deal, allowing for greater value when choosing a meal.
Chicken Bites & Fries have been added to the menu, in addition to Loaded Fries and Nachos, which come with a choice of toppings - Beef Chilli, 3 Bean Chilli, Sweet Chicken or Chicken Shawarma.
The new menu is available in all home stands - so you'll get the same great choice no matter where you are watching the game from.
Also new this season, courtesy of our prinicipal partners, BrewBoard, are two of their favourite beers, Rex and Cambstar, which will be on draught in all areas of the ground during the 2023/24 campaign.
Their 'Brew Bus' will also be in operation in the Habbin Fan Zone, serving a wider range of their drinks, and will be accompanied by two live DJ's from 1:30pm.
Fans should please note that only supporters with a Signature Suite Hospitality ticket can use the Dion Dublin Bar before or after the game.

There is no on-site car parking available at the Abbey Stadium and supporters are advised to use alternative modes of transport or the Cambridge Matchday Park & Ride service.
Fans should also note that there is a road closure on Coldhams Lane from the A1134 and Brooks Road junction, to east of the junction with Nuttings Road. This may cause some delays to supporters who travel along this route.
Home and away supporters can take advantage of the Cambridge Park & Ride, with a Matchday return ticket priced at £3 from Newmarket Road Park & Ride, CB5 8AA.
If you require disabled parking, please call the Club on 01223 566500.
Alternatively, supporters can cycle or scoot to the game. The Abbey Stadium is home to both bicycle and Voi scooter racks, allowing fans to park their ride safely whilst at the ground.
If driving to the ground, supporters are reminded not to park on the drives or grass verges of local residents. This reminder comes following reports of supporters parking at Cambridge Dialysis Centre on Ditton Road, which has meant that patients have been unable to attend treatment appointments.
Supporters have also been reported to park on the long cycle lane down Barnwell Road. We kindly ask that these sites are not used for matchday parking.
Please be considerate if parking on local streets and always follow local guidance and parking laws.
Supporters with additional needs should visit the new Accessibility Info point by the Newmarket Road End turnstiles for access to the ground and information on the services we have available for disabled supporters.
Cambridge United prides itself on being an inclusive football club and providing the best customer service for its disabled supporters. To contact our DSLO, please email Matt Casey via email@example.com.

To challenge the totally unacceptable presence of football tragedy abuse, for season 2023/24, regulation changes and tough new measures have been introduced which will see people who are found to have committed offences face stadium bans and potential criminal prosecution.
In addition to bans and criminal sanctions, a range of in-stadium, in-classroom and online resources will be rolled out under the ‘Love Football Protect the Game’ banner, to educate adults and children alike about the hurt tragedy chanting causes. Ground regulations have also been updated to incorporate references to tragedy chanting.
The game will also continue its efforts to combat dangerous, illegal and unwelcome behaviour off the pitch, be it in the stands or online. Last season a host of new measures were introduced by authorities which saw enhanced sanctions applied for people identified entering the pitch, using pyros, taking drugs to games, throwing objects or for discriminatory abuse.
For more information, please click here.
Safety at the Abbey Stadium remains a key priority on a Matchday and should you witness anti-social or discriminatory behaviour, please speak to a steward, report it via the Club's anonymous reporting textline - 075224 73291 - or through our online Report an Incident page.
