Cambridge United welcomes the findings of the Government's Fan Led Review into Football, which has been published in a 162 page report...
The report can be found here and was produced following a six month review, led by Tracey Crouch MP with help from an expert panel.
The Club has been a strong advocate for a rethink and restructure of the national game, in-order for it to be fairer and more sustainable across the pyramid.
CEO Ian Mather said, "This review is a comprehensive analysis of what needs to change in football, accompanied with some well thought through proposals. The panel, and all those who contributed to the review, have done an excellent job.
"We are proud to have been the only EFL Club on any of the three divisions to have had a representative on the Review Panel, one of our Directors, Godric Smith. It is now for government to make these recommendations happen and it is good to see that Culture Secretary, Nadine Dorries MP, has already backed the key proposal for there to be an independent regulator."
