Sensational support detailed in iFollow Revenue Report

12 June 2021

Cambridge United has received the EFL Digital Revenue Report for the 2020/21 season which reveals the incredible scope of the support that the Club received from its supporters during a season which was largely played behind-closed-doors...

In total, the Club earned £287,099,87 of Net Revenue from EFL Digital, which was the third most earned of any Club in Sky Bet League Two.

94% of the revenue earned came from iFollow Match Passes and in total, 47,009 UK Match Passes were sold across the season, in addition to 1,003 International Match Passes.

Season Ticket Holders also made a huge financial contribution to the Club, with 1,530 U's fans making the a Season Ticket purchase despite no guarantee of live football throughout the 2019/20 season.

Of those 1,530 Season Ticket Holders, 1,354 streamed at least one Cambridge United game, with an average number of 779 tuning in for each home game at the Abbey Stadium. The cumulative number of Season Ticket Holders who streamed games was 17,915. It is likely that many Season Ticket holders will have watched the game together, meaning an even greater reach than the data suggests.

These superb figures are a testament to the U's support who made a very important contribution to make up for part of the lost gate receipts over the course of the season, in addition to helping drive the team towards a historic campaign on the pitch as Mark Bonner's men won promotion to Sky Bet League One.

The Club would like to place on record its sincere gratitude to all U's fans who played their part.
