Cambridge United are pleased to highlight the incredible initiative of 16-year-old supporter Jess, who will be selling handmade, player-themed novelty glasses ahead of our upcoming home fixture against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday 26 September…
The glasses first caught the imagination of the fanbase when spotted on supporters late last season and now, ahead of starting a two-year hairdressing course at college, Jess is selling her unique creations to help fund her studies and give back to the local community.
A quarter of all proceeds from every pair sold will be directly donated to Cambridge United Foundation.
Fans can get their hands on a pair ahead of Cambridge United’s Saturday 26 September home game against AFC Wimbledon from the Junior U’s Kids’ Zone. The cost is £10 per pair, with sales limited to one pair per person, cash only.
Each pair features custom player lettering across the lenses. Ready-made pairs featuring the following U's squad members will be available on the day: Eastwood, Heath, Kaikai, Knight, Bennett, Lavery, Watts.
Supporters can also place custom orders on the day for any player of their choice, subject to availability. Custom orders can either be collected at the following home match or delivered directly via post for an additional £2.50 postage fee.
