Supporters can now cast their vote for the Girton Golf Club Player of the Month for February 2026...

Despite a setback to begin the month at Harrogate - United’s only league loss in the past four months - the U’s responded impressively to deliver another strong run of results.

Victories over Bristol Rovers and Newport County, alongside valuable points against Colchester United and MK Dons, saw United collect eight points and further strengthen their position in the promotion picture.

It was a genuine team effort across February, with a number of players producing standout performances. The four nominees are:

  • Jake Eastwood – Produced a series of important saves throughout the month, including crucial stops against Colchester and MK Dons with the games finely poised.
  • Kell Watts – Another standout month from the U’s centre-back. Rock solid defensively, he also made a major impact at the other end of the pitch by scoring three goals.
  • Sullay Kaikai – Netted three more times in February to move into double figures for the season, underlining his status as one of the team’s key match-winners.
  • Shane McLoughlin – A driving force in midfield, McLoughlin helped keep the U’s ticking and played a pivotal role in United’s success, including scoring against Crawley to put his side in front.
