The U’s booked their place in the second round thanks to last night’s win 2-0 at Bristol Rovers, and have been rewarded with a home tie against Nathan Jones’ team.
Just two and a half weeks ago, the U’s met Charlton in their final pre-season outing of the summer, playing out a 1-1 draw.
The tie will be played week commencing 25 August, with ticket information released in due course.
