Represent the U's in the right way this Saturday

Love Football Protect the Game graphic

Ahead of Saturday’s final game of the Sky Bet League Two season at Crewe Alexandra, Cambridge United would like to remind supporters to represent the Club in a passionate, supportive, but safe and responsible manner...

With 2,324 travelling supporters set to make the trip up to Cheshire, our thanks go to Crewe Alexandra for their cooperation in enabling as many U’s fans as possible to attend. We kindly ask that you respect the Mornflake Stadium, its staff and facilities, and follow all matchday guidance at all times.

The Club supports initiatives aimed at protecting the game and ensuring football remains a safe environment for supporters, players, staff and officials alike.

Pitch Incursions

Entering the pitch at any time is a criminal offence. Any supporter who does so could face both Club sanctions and police action, including a minimum three-year banning order.

Recent incidents across the game have led to individuals receiving football bans, criminal records and further consequences that can affect employment, education and travel opportunities.

Pyrotechnics

Supporters are reminded that bringing or using pyrotechnics inside the stadium is strictly prohibited. This includes flares, smoke bombs and fireworks.

Anyone found in possession of, or using, such items risks serious sanctions and potential criminal prosecution, including a minimum three-year football banning order under the Sporting Events Act 1985.

Pyrotechnics pose significant safety risks, including burns, breathing difficulties and fire hazards, and can endanger fellow supporters, staff and players.

Report It

If you witness any dangerous, discriminatory or abusive behaviour, please report it to your nearest steward, or log it on the Football Safety app - so it can be dealt with quickly and appropriately.

All reports are treated seriously and handled in confidence, with details shared with the relevant authorities where necessary.

Let’s get behind the team in the right way and finish the season with pride.
