Kell Watts has been named in the Sky Bet League Two Team of the Season at the 2026 EFL Awards, held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane in London on Sunday evening...
It’s deserved recognition for Kell, who has enjoyed an outstanding campaign at the heart of United’s defence, which has conceded the least goals in the EFL. An ever-present throughout the season, he has featured in every match and logged more minutes than any of his teammates.
Alongside his defensive contributions, Kell has also added seven goals, underlining his impact at both ends of the pitch.
Neil Harris was also shortlisted for Manager of the Year, after guiding United into promotion contention at the first attempt following last season’s relegation. The award was won by Bromley’s Andy Woodman.
