Cambridge United are proud to announce that this Saturday’s clash with Oldham Athletic will mark the club’s first ever Faith and Unity fixture, celebrating the diversity, togetherness, and community spirit that defines our city and our club...

Guests from local faith communities will be in attendance, and the club is delighted to be welcoming them to the Cledara Abbey Stadium as we aim to unite and celebrate the diversity of cultures that the city has to offer.

Supporter Engagement Officer, Amelia Edwards, said “Cambridge is a wonderfully diverse city and football is at its best when it reflects and celebrates that. The Faith and Unity fixture is about recognising the many different communities that make up our city, and showing how we can all come together.

"The club hopes that this first Faith and Unity fixture will continue to strengthen connections across the city and reaffirm Cambridge United’s commitment to being a club at the heart of its community.

"We look forward to welcoming everyone to the Cledara Abbey Stadium on Saturday for what will be both an important league fixture and a powerful celebration of faith, respect, and unity."
