The enhanced bag-search procedure is being introduced to help maintain a safe and secure environment for supporters, players, staff, volunteers and match officials. Searching bags helps prevent prohibited or potentially dangerous items from being brought into the stadium and forms part of the club’s wider matchday safety and security measures.
Supporters are therefore encouraged to arrive early and allow additional time for entry, as the increased level of searching may result in longer queues at the turnstiles.
Following a successful bag search, the bag will be tagged to indicate that it has been searched. Any bag identified inside the stadium without the relevant search tag may be subject to a retrospective search.
Please note that large holdalls and suitcases are not permitted inside the Cledara Abbey Stadium, in accordance with the club’s Permitted and Prohibited Items Policy and should not be brought to any fixture.
