Cambridge United are proud to support the Besom in Cambridge at our upcoming home fixture against Crewe Alexandra on Saturday 29 November, and we’re asking fans to join us in making a real difference to local families this Christmas…
The Besom Network creates and distributes Christmas Hampers for people in need across our community. To help them meet rising demand this winter, we will be collecting food and essential items at the match.
Supporters are encouraged to bring any of the following items to the Cledara Abbey Stadium:
- Christmas cakes
- Christmas puddings
- Custard
- Mince pies
- Pasta
- Large bottles of fruit squash
- Jars of pasta sauce
- Biscuits
- Tea
- Coffee
- Drinking chocolate
- Shower gel
- Toothpaste
All donations should be good quality items with 2026 ’Use By’ dates where possible. The donation point will be at the Junior U's Kids' Zone.
The last chance to donate items for this year’s hampers is Sunday 30 November, so the Crewe Alexandra fixture provides the perfect opportunity to support the campaign.
