Cambridge United are pleased to have been ranked 5th in the latest Fan Engagement Index, published by Think Fan Engagement…
The Index measures how clubs across the Premier League and EFL involve and communicate with their supporters, focusing on Dialogue, Governance and Transparency. It's a upward jump of three spots from last season's results, where United finished eighth.
Since the Index was launched in 2018/19, Cambridge United has consistently maintained a top-10 ranking across all eight editions: 10th, 3rd, 4th, 4th, 6th, 6th, 8th, and now 5th.
In this year’s report, United scored a total of 200 points, broken down as follows:
- Dialogue: 75
- Governance: 65
- Transparency: 60
CEO Alex Tunbridge said, "We are really pleased to see Cambridge United recognised once again in the top five of the Fan Engagement Index. Maintaining a consistent top-ten presence over the past eight years - and moving up to 5th place this season - is a testament to the hard work across the entire club to keep our supporters at the heart of everything we do.
"Engaging openly and transparently with our fans remains a core priority. While this result reflects great progress, we know there is always more to do, and we remain fully committed to listening to our supporters and continually improving how we operate."
