Cambridge United are pleased to have been ranked 8th in the latest Fan Engagement Index, published by Think Fan Engagement…
The Index measures how clubs across the Premier League and EFL involve and communicate with their supporters, focusing on Dialogue, Governance and Transparency.
In this year’s report, United scored a total of 180 points, broken down as follows:
- Dialogue: 75
- Governance: 65
- Transparency: 40
This places us in the top ten nationally and earns us a Silver Award for fan engagement.
The result reflects the ongoing work across the club to strengthen supporter involvement and communication. Initiatives such as the Shadow Board, regular structured dialogue meetings with CUSP (Cambridge United Supporters Panel) and our thorough engagement with supporters over the recent change of crest, all have contributed to our progress in recent years.
While we’re pleased to see Cambridge United recognised again among the best in the country for fan engagement, there’s always more to do. We’ll continue working with supporters to improve transparency and to ensure fans remain central to the decision-making and culture of our club.
