Ben Yeomans leaves Cambridge United Women

Ben Yeomans

Cambridge United Women can confirm that Ben Yeomans has departed the club after nine seasons as part of the coaching staff, most recently serving as Assistant Head Coach…

Ben’s association with Cambridge United spans nearly a decade, having joined the club at the age of 24. During his time with the team, he has played a key role in the development and progression of the Women’s programme, supporting players and staff through periods of growth, challenge and change.

“I have had the privilege of being with Cambridge United Women’s for much of my adult life, and I will be forever grateful for everything I have learned - both as a coach and as a person - as well as for the people I have met along the way,” Yeomans said.

“Thank you for the last eight and a half years. While the journey has naturally come with its challenges, every experience has played a part in shaping the coach and the person I am today.”

Gisela Otten, Chair of the Women's Board added, “Ben has poured his heart into the club. He has always put the team and the club first, and his excellent coaching skills and positive character have made him fantastic to work with. We are incredibly thankful for everything he has given to the club.”

Everyone at Cambridge United would like to place on record their sincere thanks to Ben for his commitment to the club. He leaves with our very best wishes for the future in his next chapter.
