Cambridge United are pleased to announce Arthur Rank Hospice Charity as the Club’s official Charity Partner for the 2026/27 season…
Continuing the work of the past two seasons with previous partners East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) and Romsey Mill, the Club put the choice back in the hands of the U’s fanbase. Season Ticket Holders were invited to nominate local causes close to their hearts - with Arthur Rank Hospice Charity emerging as the clear and overwhelming choice across the supporter base.
To mark the launch of the new partnership, First Team players Dom Ball, Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu, Kell Watts, Shane McLoughlin and Patrick Bauer visited the charity’s Cambridge Hospice, in Shelford Bottom, last week, spending time with patients, family members, and dedicated care staff.
Arthur Rank Hospice Charity provides essential, compassionate care to individuals across Cambridgeshire facing advanced, serious illnesses or requiring end-of-life support. Delivering care entirely free of charge, the charity assists more than 3,750 people annually across its main hospice facility, the Alan Hudson Centre in Wisbech, and through community based services, including Hospice at home and the Arthur Rank Community Team.
As Cambridge United’s Charity Partner for 2026/27, Arthur Rank Hospice will benefit from:
- A dedicated themed matchday at the Cledara Abbey Stadium in the spring, including a bucket collection, charity stall, matchday programme feature, and complimentary ticket allocation.
- Player appearances throughout the season to support the charity’s campaigns and visit patients, staff and families.
- Awareness and fundraising opportunities promoted across the club’s official media channels.
- Direct support via the club’s fundraising activities across the upcoming year.
