Greater Anglia will run three special additional trains for Cambridge United fans travelling to and from Ipswich Town’s Portman Road Stadium on Saturday 2nd April...
A sold-out away allocation of 2,007 will be making the trip across to Suffolk and to cope with the demand, additional train services have been made available.
Before the match, alongside the normal timetabled services, Greater Anglia will run an additional service which will depart Cambridge at 11.08 calling at Dullingham, Newmarket, Kennett, Bury St Edmunds, Thurston, Elmswell, Stowmarket and it is scheduled to arrive in Ipswich at 12.26.
After the match, Greater Anglia will run two additional services.
The first will depart Ipswich at 17.18 calling at Ely, Cambridge North and is scheduled to arrive in Cambridge at 18.31. An additional service between Ipswich and London Liverpool Street will run at 17.22 calling at Manningtree, Colchester, Marks Tey, Kelvedon, Witham, Hatfield Peverel, Ingatestone, Shenfield, Stratford and London Liverpool Street.
