Cambridge United can confirm Robbie Cundy has been recalled from his loan with the Football Club, and has returned to parent Club Bristol City with immediate effect.
The 23-year old centre-back has featured 23 times for United this season, and scored the U’s opening goal of the campaign in the Carabao Cup win against Birmingham City back in September.
Everybody at the Football Club would like to thank Robbie for his efforts throughout the season and wishes him well in his future.
The process to recruit additional depth in central defence is already underway.
