Vacancy: Community Trust Youth Development Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join Cambridge United Community Trust as part of their Communities Team...

They are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, proactive, compassionate and transformative individual to join their organisation as Youth Development Officer. Reporting directly to the Communities Manager, the post holder will be appointed to deliver physical activities in the community, predominantly football, as part of the Premier League Kicks programme, as well as facilitating social action projects in collaboration with local organisations.

The post involves outreach work across Abbey, North Cambridge & Trumpington Meadows and the post holder will be responsible for recruiting participants and sustaining their involvement on the programmes to ensure delivery targets are met. Monitoring and reporting are therefore central to the role. Additionally, they will be expected to promote the broader opportunities available through the Trust, as well as positively represent the Trust itself.

This is a great chance to join an award-winning charity and work alongside a high-quality delivery team, determined to use the positive power of sport for social good.
