Cambridge United can today confirm that full back Leon Davies has joined Bath City on an initial one month loan.
Davies, 19, switches to Twerton Park in order to gain further match minutes at a competitive level with the Romans pushing for promotion in National League South.
The young right back will be eligible to make his first appearance in Bath City’s fixture against Torquay United tomorrow.
Winger Tom Knowles will also continue to gather further senior minutes on loan, as he joins Kettering Town on an initial month deal. The 20-year old could make his Poppies debut against Royston Town this weekend.
Ben Worman has moved out on a one month loan, joining Bishop Stortford in the Bostik League. The forward made his debut for the Blues in their midweek penalty shoot-out Cup win against Merstham F.C, and will again be in contention for Stortford’s fixture with Tonbridge Angels on Saturday.
Meanwhile, a number of the U’s under 18s have joined local sides on work experiences allowing them to play for both Cambridge United’s youth team and their respective loan teams to build senior experience.
Joe Neal (forward) moves out to Royston Town, Sam Bennett (forward) joins Mildenhall Town and Sam Goode (centre back) will feature for Haverhill Rovers.
