PAD UP THIS HALF-TERM AT CAMBRIDGE UNITED'S CRICKET CAMPS!
Whilst Football takes a break for the summer, why not sign your child up to Cambridge United's Cricket (Yes Cricket!) courses as the Club broadens the opportunities for children to keep active in partnership with Cambridge Granta CC.
A year on since announcing the U's partnership with Cambridge Granta, Cambridge United are continuing to make progression with the recent appointment of a new Cricket Development Manager, Joe Uttridge.
Alongside his work within schools, County age groups, Joe now delivers weekly colts sessions for youngsters aged between 5-15 every Sunday at Clare College Sports Ground, open to players of all abilities.
Meanwhile, the open-access Cricket Camps taking place this May half-term also offer the chance for children to experience high quality cricket coaching, as well as providing safe and reliable child care throughout the week at an excellent facility.
Parents can book their sons/daughters for four days at a discounted rate or individual days are also being taken. The camp, which is delivered by Joe himself alongside other experienced qualified Cricket coaches, provides the perfect chance to introduce your child to the sport for the first time or for the more advanced cricketer to improve further.
Commenting on the upcoming holiday camps, Joe said: "I look forward to coaching cricket throughout half term and over the Summer holidays working with new and familiar faces from across Cambridgeshire, from those at the beginner level to those at a more advanced level.
