CAMBRIDGE UNITED EXTEND MAX CLARK LOAN UNTIL END OF SEASON
Cambridge United have extended the loan of Hull City midfielder Max Clark until the end of the 2016/17 Sky Bet League Two season.
The 20-year old teamed up with the U's for a second loan spell in the summer and has continued to impress in the amber and black of Cambridge United, having made a further 25 appearances in addition to the nine games he played during his initial loan last season.
Whilst the youngster showed great versatility in a number of positions for the U's in the closing stages of the 2015/16 campaign, his energetic displays in midfield have made him a great option for Manager Shaun Derry in the centre of the field this term.
Clark scored his first professional goal for the club in the U's 5-0 victory over Hartlepool United last month and the Amber Army can look forward to continue watching his development with the U's during the second half of the season.
Cambridge United Manager Shaun Derry commented: "Max has been a very reliable player for us during his two loan spells.
"As a young player, Max is keen to learn and has made great progress during his loan spell. We are delighted that he'll be staying with the Football Club until the end of the season."
Meanwhile Elliot Omozusi and Keith Keane have both left the club by mutual consent, whilst Tom Dallison and Sean Long will return to their parent clubs following the expiry of their respective loans.
We would like to thank all four players for their contribution during their time with the Club and wish them well in their futures.
