U’s to face The Sky Blues in pre-season tussle.
Cambridge United will host League One side Coventry City at the Abbey Stadium on Tuesday 28th July, as the U’s ramp up their preparations ahead of the 2015/16 Sky Bet Football League season.
Kicking off at 7.45pm, the encounter provides United Manager Richard Money with the opportunity to test his new-look side against a strong Sky Blues outfit, who finished 17th in Sky Bet League One last season.
The club are exclusively offering supporters who purchase a season ticket before the encounter against Tony Mowbray’s side, the chance to attend the game totally free of charge as part of their 2015/16 package.
Alongside a host of other benefits including priority purchase, exclusive offers and huge reductions on match tickets for the 23 games at the Abbey Stadium next season, this latest announcement is yet another incentive to sign up for the 2015/16 campaign with the U’s.
Meanwhile for non-season ticket holders, the game will be priced at £10 for adults, £5 for concessions and £1 for junior supporters in areas of the ground, with the date of general sale to be confirmed by cambridge-united.co.uk in due course.
Further details regarding the U’s pre-season schedule will follow soon.
