One week to go – Back in the Abbey!
With just one week to go until Cambridge United take on Premier League new boys Norwich City at the Abbey Stadium, additional details regarding an extended 120 minute match are revealed.
The clash with the Canaries will mark United’s first game back on home soil in the lead up to the 2015/16 Football League campaign, and will be prolonged for a further 30 minutes splitting the game into four quarters.
The extended fixture ensures both U’s Manager Richard Money and Canaries chief Alex Neil are able to give all their respective first team players crucial game time, with the intention that both clubs field two teams for an hour each.
The encounter is therefore certain to provide supporters the chance to watch a plethora of Norwich’s Premier League stars in action, as well as the opportunity to check out the club’s newest arrivals in the likes of Barry Corr, Mark Roberts, Luke Berry and Leon Legge amongst others.
The reveal and launch of the 2015/16 Cambridge United Away shirt will also be incorporated into the evening’s line-up, meaning it’s a fixture not to be missed!
Tickets for all of Cambridge United’s pre-season fixtures at the Abbey Stadium are available online, in-store or over the phone by calling 01223 566 500, including the East Anglian Double Header offer which allows U’s fans to make a discount when purchasing tickets for both Norwich City and Ipswich Town.
