First Team Schedule Revealed
With the Elms BMW Soccer Schools off to a flying start this week at five of the 15 venues, Cambridge-United.co.uk reveals the first team line up for this Friday’s Soccer Schools.
Last week CUYD announced exciting player themed weeks for the entire summer schedule, with Barry Corr week kicking off the bonanza on Monday morning.
As well as taking part in technical training specifically based around the striker’s position this week, participants at St Ives Soccer Schools will also get the chance to meet him on Friday!
Alongside nine other Cambridge United first team players who are on course to make their way across the region, Corr will be hand on to sign autographs, pose for pictures, answer questions and even take part in a session or two.
The full First Team Friday schedule is as follows:
St Ives Soccer School – Barry Corr and Liam Hughes
Bottisham Soccer School – Jordan Slew and James Akintunde
Comberton Soccer School – Greg Taylor and Chris Dunn
Cambridge Regional College Soccer School – Luke Berry and Conor Newton
Witchford Soccer School – Rory Gaffney and Danny Carr
The chance to meet the first team is just one aspect of a packed schedule of fun for the Elms BMW Soccer Schools this summer, with the chance to play inflatable and zorb football also included alongside the training sessions, fun games and matches.
Led by the U’s FA and first aid qualified coaches, the Soccer Schools also teach participants about important topics such as diet, hydration and nutrition, as well as offering safe and reliable child care from 8am to 5pm.
