Nathaniel Mendez-Laing joins the U's on loan
CAMBRIDGE United have completed the loan signing of Nathaniel Mendez-Laing until the end of the 2014/15 season.
The 22-year-old joins the U's from League One side Peterborough United.
A product of the Wolverhampton Wanderers Academy, Nathaniel made his senior début in Wolves' Capital One Cup victory over Swindon Town in 2009.
The winger then joined Peterborough on loan for the 2010/11 season, scoring five times as Posh were promoted to the Championship via the play-offs.
2011/12 saw Mendez-Laing begin the season at Sheffield United, however injury forced him back to Wolverhampton after making 11 appearances for the Blades.
In July 2012 Nathaniel joined Peterborough on a three-year deal. He then spent time on loan at Portsmouth before returning to London Road.
Greenhous Meadow was next for Mendez-Laing, he joined Shrewsbury on loan for the second-half of the 2013/14 season.
