New Partnership for Cambridge United and Regal Expoline Ltd
Industry leading paint manufacturer Regal Expoline Ltd pledge their support towards the club's Regional Development Centres by sponsoring the venue at Linton.
Regal Expoline offer a specialist range of line marking paints that will enhance any playing surface, and have now backed the club's talent programme with a new partnership.
The RDCs are weekly training sessions for talented young players aged between 7-16 years old, who have been identified from the club's open access Community Football Programme and are provided with the opportunity to develop their skills further.
The Linton RDC will now be known as the Regal Expoline Linton Regional Development Centre, with the sponsorship allowing Cambridge United to continue developing the Youth Development and Community Programme further afield.
Commenting on the exciting partnership, Youth Development and Community Manager James Cutting said: "We would like to place on record our thanks to Regal Expoline Ltd for their wonderful support of our Regional Development Centre programme. Partnerships like this one allow the Youth Development & Community programmes to grow and develop still further.
"The Linton Regional Development Centre is one of our longest-standing hub venues, which has seen some exciting talent pass through its ranks over the past nine seasons. The club now operates the RDC training programme at 15 venues all across Cambridgeshire and are on the look-out for more partners to help develop and enhance the programme and give talented children the opportunity to progress through professional coaching."
